"Hey guys, I'm Amber - I fled Adelaide, then Canberra to see more of the world... I've been in London since May 07, and am always keen to meet other easy-going ex-pat types... particularly as I too have been affected by an Aussie friend exodus! "

"I live in Wanstead - East beyond Stratford - would love anyone else in the hood to give me a shout - plenty of pubs/cafes down this end of town which I'm sure could benefit from some Aussie banter!"

Where are you from in Australia?

"Adelaide - and Canberra (yes I was a public servant!)"

What holiday destination would you recommend to other Aussie travellers?

"Ecuador - I have never been so over-whelmed by the friendliness of the people. Plus it has lots of drifferent things (mountains, beaches, trekking, cities, museums) all packed into one county - and their fruit shakes are just so tasty!"

What do you love or hate about living in London?

"I like how there is so much to see and do - but I can't say I love a packed tube in the morning on the way to work..."

How long have you been in the U.K?

"Nine months."
