"Hi, I've just moved over from the Gold Coast and have left all my friends behind to start a 'new life'. I am absolutely loving London but would like to meet some other people to socialise and possibly travel with."

"I'm living 15 mins from London Bridge and wouldn't mind getting to know other Aussies in the area."

Where are you from in Australia?

"I'm from the Gold Coast but have lived half my life in Sydney."

What holiday destination would you recommend to other Aussie travellers?

"Lisbon is a must, it was a side trip to Spain, but it more than exceeded my expectations. The night life in Barrio Alto is amazing but there are lots of sights to visit as well. You also have to visit Sintra (from Lisbon)for the day its 'magical'."

What do you love or hate about living in London?

"I love that there is so much more to do than on the Gold Coast and that everything is so accessible. I don't know how I will ever get bored here, though my flat mates beg to differ."

How long have you been in the U.K?

"I have been in London for about 1.5 months."
