Kevin, I got the Epson V500 and am very pleased with it. I got in on amazon.com and saved the taxes. Before purchasing this I reviewed posts on photonet. They are a great source of info. If you look on the website forums and search for scanners you'll get some comments from others who use the V500 or model your interested in.
