Being a part of this team is a way to test your limits, challenge yourself while helping a GREAT cause and making GREAT friends. It's an excuse to get off the couch, get out and enjoy the scenery and along the way realize you can eat ice cream & still lose weight!
Come learn more, we'll meet at Starbucks near Boston Hatch Shell. We'll have coffee, talk logistics, get psyched, and after, those who brought their bikes can go for an can inaugural ride. :) You can come or train with us even if you don't want to do the actual ride. :)
I am so excited to be doing this again, and if I can even get one person who will train with me and do the ride it will be so much more fun!
Even if you can't make the kick-off, but want to train or be a part of our team, please rsvp maybe so I can get your contact info and email you with our training schedule and details.
Keep Smiling!
Angela
PS-- don't stress about fundraising. I can help you with it-- that was a big part of my professional life for a few years. :)

Autumn Escape Bike Trek
The American Lung Association of Massachusetts? Autumn Escape Bike Trek is a fun, 3-day, 160-mile 'at-your-own-pace' tour along Cape Cod, Massachusetts (2-day, 105-mile option available) in September. Designed to attract the expert and novice alike, this adventure from Plymouth to Provincetown offers a weekend filled with beautiful scenery, prizes, a lobster dinner, entertainment and support along the way. We ride RAIN or SHINE and provide overnight accommodations, medical and technical support, water stops and more!
There is a non-refundable/non-tax deductible registration fee of $75.00 for the 3-day ride and $55.00 for the 2-day ride. Each rider must raise a minimum of $500 to participate.
Bring a tuned bicycle, ASNI-approved helmet, and sleeping bag. All proceeds directly benefit the programs and services of the American Lung Association. This event is non-smoking. Because even the most experienced rider occasionally needs a helping hand, we provide you with medical and mechanical support, a SAG wagon for your gear, breakfasts and dinner, overnight accommodations, and the friendliest volunteers you have ever met! Rest stops are located approximately every 15 miles along the bike route. Our rest stop crew provides drinks, power bars, fun snacks, and encouragement so you have enough energy to make it to the finish each day.
The 2008 Trek will take place September 12-14, 2008.
